Juniper EX4500-40F-BF-C: What's in a name?

We've just landed a few more EX4500-40F-BF-C 10gig SFP+ switches. These newer -C versions of the EX4500 allow for convergence with hardware support for DCB (data center bridging, or CEE), which is required to transport storage traffic over IP/Ethernet networks. These particular units carry the BF (back-to-front) airflow designation. Loaded with 40 fixed 10Gbe pluggable ports, you can also add up to 8 more ports of 10gbe by using EX4500-UM-4XSFP modules. You can deploy the EX4500 in a virtual chassis configuration over a 128 Gbps backplane by using Virtual Chassis interconnect cables and the EX4500-VC1-128G module. This 10Gbe top-of-rack aggregation switch for service provider, data center and campus environments perfectly compliments the other EX Series EX2200, EX3200, and EX4200 families we also have in stock.
