M10i

The Juniper Networks M10i is a fully redundant M-series router targeted at small and medium points of presence.

Delivering IP/MPLS features and performance without trade offs in a fully redundant yet compact form factor, the M10i is an ideal replacement for the Cisco 7500 and as an alternative to the Cisco 7600. The M10i supports proven JUNOS software in the control plane, thereby offering the same rich and consistent set of IP/MPLS features available to all other M-series platforms. With a separate forwarding plane containing programmable ASICs, these features are delivered with uncompromising forwarding performance. The fully redundant hardware architecture, combined with hitless switchover and In-Service Software Upgrades (ISSU) make the M10i the product of choice for delivering reliable and secure services in small and medium points of presence.
