BigIron RX Series Layer 2/3 Switches
The BigIron RX Series Switches incorporate the latest advancements in switch fabric design, system redundancy and traffic management to enable the next generation of scalable, secure, and high-availability networking solutions. The BigIron RX Series offers a complete and robust set of standards-based IPv4 and IPv6 routing protocols, including BGP, ISIS, OSPF and RIP, scaling up to 1 million routes in software and 512,000 unique routes in hardware for wire speed routing and filtering. The redundant management modules support hitless failover. The redundant switch fabric modules complete the robust design. Add part number BI-RX-2GB-FC to any of the chassis order below to upgrade at the factory from the BI-RX-MR to the BI-RX-MR2 2GB memory management module.
